Korean BBQ!

Now, I'm not a huge fan of going to a Korean BBQ restaurant if there's no "buffet"/"all-you-can-eat" style servings, but today was an exception. Why? Because today, my aunt treated our whole family to dinner!

Meaning, we got to order whatever we wanted. ;) It was a wonderful dinner. Not filling as the all you can eat 삼겹살 (Pork Belly), but it was filling.

Here's a few photos that I managed to snap of dinner last night.

In the first photo, you can see my favorite Korean dish, 떡볶이 (Ddeokbokki) which is hard to describe. It's like a rice cake concoction topped with hot paste made from chili peppers added alongside with onions, onions and more onions. Some vegetables are added, and to top it off, a boiled egg! The bottom photo half of the first photo is the round grill that my family used (mainly me.. hehehe) to cook our marinated beef/chicken/pork. You name it! We ate everything from cow tongue to pork belly! Seriously though, you wouldn't even know that it's cow tongue.

The Bottom picture depicts basically all that I really need when I'm at a K-BBQ. ;) Firstly, my dish of fish cakes, a bowl of rice, my meat (preferably 갈비) and lettuce! Dipping sauce slips in between my dishes somewhere..

Overall, the food was good. I just wasn't happy because it was "all-you-can-eat", but the 떡볶이 (Ddeokbokki) definitely made my night better. :)

Lens and I

Welps, here's my first post on my first (commited) blog. You see, I've been trying to make it big in the "blogging" life for the longest time now, and finally (NOW) I'm going to attempt to try and keep up with this blog.

What's with the title you ask? Well, I'm known for being a photographer.

I'm always carrying around my DSLR around snapping picture here and there of people/things/food..

Trust me, if I'm out to dinner with anyone, most likely, I'll whip out my camera before I dig into my food. It's a habit. I like to document my life, and what goes into my stomach. :)

Thanks for reading, and I hope you have a fun time following my posts and the pictures on Lens and I.

For now, here's a picture of me and my closest friends.
